A few days ago, in my psychology class, my professor was talking about eyes. I learned the real reason why pirates wear eyepatches. It’s so that when they’re going from a light place to a dark place in a dangerous sitution they can just lift up their one eyepatch and their eye will already be adjusted to the darkness.
